Del 26 de Marzo hasta el 13 de Mayo, 2007, GWA organizará una
E-conferencia sobre Género, Agua e Integridad. Con la E-conferencia en
este tema la GWA espera recolectar información y experiencias que servirán
para formular un documento de política sobre Género, Agua e Integridad.

La E-conferencia será dividida en tres diferentes temas de Género, Agua e
Integridad, y cada discusión durará dos semanas.

Si usted está interesado en participar en ésta E-conferencia, envíe un
E-mail a Christine Verheijden, gwaprojects en chello.nl, quien será el
moderador de esta E-conferencia, mencionando su nombre y profesión.

Gender, Water and Integrity

GWA likes to invite you to participate in the e-conference on Gender,
Water and Integrity we will organise from March 26 till May 13, 2007.
The Gender and Water Alliance has joined the Water Integrity Network
(WIN) and there is apparent need for information on gender, water and
corruption, and accountability. On the one hand women and men may
have different attitude towards integrity, and on the other hand the
impact on women and men may be different. With the e-conference on
this topic GWA hopes to gather information and experiences which will
serve to formulate a policy paper on Gender, Water and Integrity.

The e-conference will be divided in three different topics of Gender,
Water and Integrity, with each discussion lasting for two weeks.
These topics are:
1. Corruption in the water sectors: different impact on women and
men, and different integrity practices.
2. Good practices of breaking with corruption in the water sectors,
cases.
3. Suggestions and strategies for formulating a policy paper on
Gender, Water and Integrity.
Before the start of the discussion, the topics will be introduced in
a short paper.

The E-conference will be hold simultaneously in English and Spanish,
however interesting points will be summarised and translated by the
moderator and fed into the other language discussion. The summaries
of each topic discussion will be translated to both languages as well.

If you are interested to participate in this e-conference, send an e-
mail to Christine Verheijden, gwaprojects en chello.nl, who will be the
moderator of this e-conference, mentioning your name and profession.
When your participation is approved you will receive an e-mail
explaining on how to participate.

We hope you are interested and will join us in the e-conference and
very much welcome your contributions.
